Due to their unique structure and ability to cover a large surface area, they offer the ideal environment to foster beneficial bacterial growth around the root zone, leading to naturally healthier plants. | Use this block of organic coco coir planting mix to promote root growth for flowers, vegetables, herbs, and more. It works as both an indoor and outdoor planting mix and is ideal for hydroponics systems. Although each block of mix is equivalent to more than 2.5 cubic feet of soil when water is added, it is lightweight and easy to carry and store. Add the GROW!T mix into your growing system and notice the coco coir difference. | Pro-Mix® HP Mycorrhizae™ is a high-porosity, peat-based growing medium. This formula ensures optimum growth, especially when high air capacity and extra drainage are required. It is ideal for water-sensitive crops, root cuttings and/or low-light growing conditions. Pro-Mix® HP Mycorrhizae™ is compatible with a wide variety of ornamental plant species, fruit crops and most vegetable transplants. Contains Canadian sphagnum peat moss (65–75%/volume), horticultural-grade perlite, dolomitic and calcitic limestone (pH adjuster), wetting agent and mycorrhizae – endomycorrhizal fungi (glomus intraradices). | House & Garden Coco is 100% coco coir with little to no sodium residuals and is very clean without anything added. Buffered with calcium nitrate and then washed. During the washing process, the nitrate is removed, and only the calcium stays behind. The coco larger fiber coir holds onto water and nutrients; does not get compacted easily like shorter fiber coir. Add 10–20% grow stones or chunky perlite for best results and drainage. | Cocogro® has a very low salt content that is available in 3/4 in double-sieved long fibers to reduce dust and give ample space within the mix. It has excellent drainage properties and can be used over a longer period of time than coir fiber with shorter fibers. With longer fibers and reduced dust, growers will experience an optimal air to water ratio, which is vital for strong root development. Cocogro® is a superior coir fiber because it is aged a minimum of 18 months and has finished its decomposition stage.
