Coco coir growers will greatly benefit from the use of Cal-Mag Amplified by providing additional calcium to buffer the coco and maximize cation exchange capacity. Higher levels of magnesium are necessary for some plant varieties and heirlooms that originate from equatorial regions. The additional source of magnesium in Cal-Mag Amplified will drive chlorophyll production and maximize photosynthesis. Plants fortified with calcium and magnesium exhibit lush green leaves and reward the farmer with heavy fruits. Foliar application is also highly recommended as a way to provide the plants with direct sources of calcium to fortify cell walls through the apolplast pathway, freeing mobile calcium to be used for fruit set. Spray when the sun is first rising or setting for the night to ensure stomata are fully dilated. | CES BLOOM is the second component of the base three part blooming formula, to be used in conjunction with the MICRO. BLOOM is a phosphorus-heavy formula for enhancing flower production, as well as to encourage the plant to shift its hormonal signals from vegetative to flowering. BLOOM also contains potassium to enhance the plant's photosynthetic rate and energy transfer throughout the plant. MICRO is to be used in conjunction with the GROW and/or BLOOM, in order to achieve a solid fertilizer base which can be used on its own, or built upon with CES additives to achieve maximum growth. MICRO is comprised of a high quality nitrogen and calcium base and is fortified with micronutrients. MICRO is to be used throughout the entire growth cycle of a plant, regardless of vegetative or flowering cycles. MICRO is highly concentrated and needs to be diluted and mixed FIRST, before adding any other components of the CES system. Failure to do so can cause lockout with other ingredients. | UNCLE JOHN'S BLEND (UJB) is a complex potassium mixture used primarily to enhance a plant's metabolic rate, especially for flowering plants during the blooming stage. Potassium is a major component in photosynthetic processes, including the production of ATP (plant sugars) and the transfer of those sugars throughout the plant tissue. The low molecular weight of UJB makes it very available to the plant for immediate use, as well as making a very "clean" foliar spray that will not leave heavy buildup or residue on the plant tissue. UJB can also be used in conjunction with CES' 2 other additives to produce custom foliar applications. UJB can be used throughout the entire growth cycle, but is more critical in the flowering stages of a plant's life to maintain energy levels and maximize plant growth. A plant is essentially dying as it goes to fruit or seed, so adding UJB helps to maintain the metabolic rate of plants. | Concentrated pH adjustment liquid, alkaline buffer raises water and nutrient solution pH. Highly concentrated, use conservatively. Slowly add to pure water or nutrient solution, at small intervals. Note beginning reading and then test pH. Repeat small application process and stir well, until desired pH is achieved. Amount of CES pH Up™ required for adjustment will vary, depending on the strength of nutrient mixture and purity of the water source used. May be diluted when applied to reservoir with nutrients.
